Auckland Zoo has two emperor tamarins, Ladino and Pacino, that arrived from Perth Zoo in Western Australia in November 2018.
We wholeheartedly agree with Warren, our Curator of Mammals, when he says our emperor tamarins are magnificent! With a ‘regal-like’ white moustache, a marvellous silver coat and stunning orange tail.
You can see them at The Rainforest habitat they share with our pygmy marmosets June and Piccolo.
